Narayan Shankar (Amitabh Bachchan) a strict disciplinarian as the head of India's most prestigious educational institute who stands for fear. He believes that love leads to pain and weakness.

A lovely light entertainment movie with great songs. The show down between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh is the best part.

My favourite Shah Rukh Khan movie, his acting is so brilliant. I liked the way the 3 younger couples stories are interwined in the movie and all the big dance routines are a real treat to watch. Very colourful and a feel good film.
